In the most recent COVID-19 report, the number of positive cases among Savannah-Chatham Public School System (SCCPSS) students and staff dropped by 57%. For the week of Jan. 28, the district reported that 597 students and 160 personnel members had tested positive for COVID-19. Meanwhile, 3,382 of students and 1,030 of staff were in quarantine, a decrease of around 63% and 33% respectively from the previous week.
