Robert W. Bush, a Savannah public interest attorney, says in a new GHN Commentary piece that the way to improve Medicare is not through drastic cuts, but through changes such as allowing the federal government to negotiate drug prices with pharmaceutical companies.
‘’Why are taxpayers the ones who are told that they will have to make additional ‘hard choices,’ when they need proposals to address the hard choices they’ve had to make between buying medicines or paying rent?’’ Bush writes.
